What is the PADI Open Water course?

The PADI Open Water Diver course is the most well-known beginner scuba certification worldwide. Whether you’re dreaming of drifting over vibrant reefs, diving through shipwrecks, or getting up close with marine life, this is the first step into the world of scuba diving. And what better place to start than the beautiful island of Bali? With its clear waters, vibrant coral reefs, and amazing marine life like turtles, stingrays, and barracudas, Bali offers the perfect setting for your first diving experience.

The course takes just three days and includes:

  • Learning the basics of scuba theory with a certified instructor

  • Practicing skills in a pool

  • Open water dives to apply what you've learned and explore the ocean

After completing the course, you’ll be a certified diver—and part of a global community of  divers! 

PADI Open Water Course

  • Become certified through PADI and dive anywhere in the world
  • Learn a new sense of freedom and confidence in the water with our skilled and awesome staff
  • Duration: 3 days with eLearning
  • Dives: Pool sessions and 4 ocean dives
  • Location: 2 dives in Padang Bai, 2 dives at the WWII Shipwreck in Tulamben
  • Maximum depth is an awesome 18m (60 ft)
  • PADI Certification: YES
  • Starting day: When you’re ready!!!

What are the requirements?

  • Min. 10 years old
  • Swimming ability: Must be able to swim 200m (or 300 meters using mask, fins and snorkel) at your own pace and float for 10 minutes – this is easy!
