What is the Scuba Diver course?
The PADI Scuba Diver course is a perfect option to learn dive in a short time—it only takes two days and covers the first half of the PADI Open Water Diver program. With this certification, you’ll be able to dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters (40 feet).
On day one, you'll focus on dive theory and essential safety skills, practiced in a specially designed training pool. On the second day, you'll head to the ocean to put your new skills into action and discover the incredible underwater world Bali has to offer.
After successfully completing the course, you'll receive your official PADI certification. You can also choose to continue your training and upgrade to the full Open Water Diver certification anytime in the future, which typically takes two more days.
What are the prerequisites to join the PADI Scuba Diver course?
To join the PADI Scuba Diver course (or the Junior Scuba Diver course), you need to be at least 10 years old. As part of the course requirements, you’ll need to complete a swim test—either a 200-meter swim in the pool or a 300-meter swim using a mask, snorkel, and fins. There's no time limit, but you must swim the entire distance without stopping.
