Mermaid Course

1. Discovery Mermaid

An introductory mermaid experience designed for beginners in confined water.

Minimum age: 6 years old
No prior experience required in snorkeling, skin diving, or other water activities

2. Basic Mermaid

An introductory mermaid program that combines essential knowledge and basic principles with practical skills in confined water, allowing participants to learn and enjoy the fundamentals of mermaid diving.

Minimum age: 6 years old
Swimming ability: Must be able to swim at least 25 m / 80 ft without swimming aids
Water confidence: Must be able to comfortably float on the surface for at least 3 minutes

3. Mermaid

A more advanced mermaid experience that combines knowledge development with at least two water-skill sessions, helping participants build stronger and more dynamic mermaid diving skills beyond the Basic Mermaid level.

Minimum age: 10 years old
Swimming ability: Must be able to swim at least 50 m / 160 ft without swimming aids
Water confidence: Must be able to comfortably float on the surface for at least 5 minutes

4. Advanced Mermaid

Take your mermaid skills into the open water and learn how it differs from a pool or confined-water environment, including greater depth, larger spaces, and changing conditions. Participants will also be introduced to essential open-water mermaiding techniques.

Minimum age: 12 years old
Swimming ability: Must be able to swim at least 100 m / 320 ft without swimming aids
Water confidence: Must be able to comfortably float on the surface for at least 10 minutes
Certification: PADI Mermaid certification
